Devolver digital is back again, Last year at E3 They did something completely new. Their 2017 E3 show was scripted and a parody of E3 conferences making fun of companies like Microsoft, Sony, Bethesda and more.
Well, this year they did something completely new which is related to loot boxes. The most controversial thing in recent years of gaming and of course Devolver digital had to make fun of it. And… They did
Introducing (In the voice of Jony Ive) Lootbox Coin, a 2.5-inch, banana yellow coin that “has no actual value and by no means is to be considered cryptocurrency or a currency of any kind.”
The officially unofficial Lootboxcoin from Devolver Digital as seen in the Devolver Digital 2018 E3 Press Conference. Please note that this coin is 2.5″ in diameter and has no actual value and by no means is to be considered cryptocurrency or a currency of any kind. You can’t buy anything with it. In fact, it’s insane for you to really buy it unless you want to prove your loyalty to Fork Parker, Nina Struthers, and the Devolver Digital executive board. – Devolver Digital
It’s going up for $150 on sale right but god knows where the price will go in few hours.
I personally think it’s quite funny and how each year Devolver Digital try to capture something new in a swarm of video game announcements.
Keep in mind the lootbox coin in very unpredictable and price can go anywhere from $1 to $10,000
